Pop Music 20,540
Symptoms by Ashley Tisdale this album for of fun and catchy pop music talks about depression and anxiety for the actress/singer and how it affects herself and her marriage to her husband Christopher French The songs are well written and Ashley voice is very laid back but impressive I highly recommend for anyone who has anxiety and or depression to listen to this album and give it a chance because it may shock you how good it is coming from a highly underrated Ex- Act https://open.spotify.com/album/2SeQhMEDBwMPuU1yykP2mh https://music.apple.com/us/album/symptoms/1457934050 some of the best songs are Symptoms Looking Glass Vibrations True Romance Feeling So Good Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever! Didymus 34,380
I don't care for that kind of music so I'm just gonna treat this thread title like a question rather than an answer I'd recommend everything by Fiona Apple. She's brutally honest and makes you feel less alone and united with other people's ****ed-up-ness I especially recommend The Idler Wheel as an album. Great to get started. Beautiful, sad and glorious. I'd love to see other recommendations btw. I think it'd be interesting if people shared what made them feel less depressed/anxious. I edited my post I thought this was a "share your albums that fit the thread title" kind of thread. Then I realized you were just trying to plug Tisdale Which is great, don't get me wrong. I'd just like this thread a lot more if we recommended more music that could help people out in different ways.

The album that got me out of a depression was Homogenic by Björk, it makes emotional vulnerability feel so powerful. Vulnicura also really helps with validating depressive emotions and makes me feel less alone.

DELETETHIS745638 2,101
Born This Way ALWAYS helps me when i’m feeling depressed or sad. Listen to it on headphones on full volume and you’ll be taken into another world.... her best album wbk Anthems like Hair and Born This Way make me feel so empowered and important don’t forget Edge of Glory which never fails to give me chills or make me almost cry. the album is truly an emotional roller coaster and has the power to make you feel reborn again every time you listen to it
