Yesterday the Minister of immigration announced that immigrants who were already in Québec before 1st November are not concerned by the new rules THOUGH as of today the rules are still not changed on their website. I know others here on GGD like @Florian also went to Quebec to study At first, I wanted to try to live there because there are like a looooot of conferences in France where people from there are trying to "recruit" us. But I didn't get my visa. So I went to study for six month with my ex-best friend and I really enjoyed it. So last year I went back and was hired by a company who paid for my working permit. And I met my man eheh Life is a bit easier. Though some things like health care and food really needs to be improved. It's not really what I was promised but for now I am enjoying it more than when I was in France. I don't know if I make sense because I just woke up. Cuz its not really the BEST representation of Canada culturally and politically not saying its bad. Just different i find Quebec to be much more Europe and less North America edit: of course theyd promote hard in france. They are already the largest receivers of the equalization payment program at around $10 Billion a year now...
