In our standard it'd be like a box of chocolate or a muffin basket. This is really nothing new or shocking. These people always gift their guests things that are unbelievably expensive for us but nothing for them. It's by principle, something very tacky and pretentious about it. This is just their standard. Just because its a luxury for us doesn't mean its a luxury for them.
