"Remember, remember the fifth of November

The gunpowder treason and plot.

I know of no reason why the gun powder treason should ever be forgot."

On the night of 5th November 1605, Guy Fawkes was discovered in the cellars of the Palace of Westminster. He had 36 barrels of gunpowder. In the following days, he confessed to the plot and named the others involved. #OTD #BonfireNight

Here's a cool letter from the UK National Archives which I believe informs parliament of the plot:

I think the whole of parliament and not just the government are f*cked up.

We (the people) forget the power we hold over the government and often allow them to manipulate us!

Guy Fawkes was literally a terrorist tho
