A man by the name of Jimmy Fennell, who originally at one point was a suspect in the 1996 murder case of Stacey Stites, had allegedly confessed while he was in prison for another crime to committing the murder. This news becoming public has gotten the attention of celebrities like Rihanna, who have called out on social media to sign a petition to get Rodney Reed off of Death Row. The petition has over 122,000 signatures, and is continuing to rise.

This is why the death penalty is a horrible idea anyway. You can never be too sure. How can be literally kill someone just because a jury (which is made up of regular citizens btw) decided that someone is guilty?

I’ve already signed the petition, hopefully it does something  The death penalty is such an archaic system I can’t believe it’s still being practiced. It’s comparable to the Salem Witch Trials
