They are something really special and beautiful. I notice that most of the things that are compared to Florence just don't seem like they should be, aside from maybe Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks, etc. I'm looking for some recommendations for things that you feel carry a similar vibe, or sound to Florence + the Machine. I'm not looking for artists like Lana, St. Vincent, Marina, Arctic Monkeys, etc, that I feel don't carry the same ethereal, almost fantasy vibe that Florence does. I'm looking for something that has that vastness, the beauty and epicness that I've hardly been able to find anywhere else. If anyone has any recommendations I would be happy to listen. Lana's music is way slower than Florence's and is way more inspired by like old hollywood aesthetically and her music is a lot more bluesy and jazzy.
