for myself, i always saw the btwb (2012-2013) as a seperate era, that whole tour was a ****ing lifestyle

(if we are talking about gaga era’s and not album era’s.... in this case)

yes with two mentions:

TFM era ended  when the  Monster Ball tour ended in 2011.

C2C didn't last that long because the C2C tour ended in 2015. 2014-2016 would be what we call the ''Tributes'' era.

The Fame and The Fame Monster eras are inseperable if you ask me. They would be 2008-2009 TF and 2009-2010 with TFM.

BTW is more like 2011-2012

ARTPOP is 2013-2014 I guess

C2C is 2014-2015 at most

Joanne 2016-2017

ASIB 2018-2019

Born This Way Era - 2011-2012

ARTPOP Era - 2013-2014

Cheek to Cheek Era - 2014-2015

ASIB Era 2018-2019...I would label this just 2018 as the film, soundtrack and all the promotion took place in 2018. Gaga didn't promote ASIB at all in 2019.

I know she won awards this year but when promotion ends, the era ends. Gaga is probably nominated next year also for the Grammy's but that doesn't mean it's still a continuing era.

Not quite. There are some "in-between-eras" you missed. BTW album era only lasted to early 2012 as active promotion and the release of new singles simply stopped after MTN ( thoughts are with HML, never have gotten the chance as the 6th single :diane: ). So there's an extra era between BTW and ARTPOP ( BTWB as previously mentioned; also, she "released" Cake By Lady Gaga during that time :derpga: ).

The ARTPOP album era was over really quickly in early 2014 after the release of G.U.Y. After that the ArtRave started, while she simultaneously released and toured for C2C. In early 2015, after ArtRave ended, she started the "Tributes, AHS and healing" era, as I'd like to call it. It was the time she was critically acclaimed by almost everyone for her tribute performances ( and TIHTY :diane: ) and her acting at AHS, so her public image started to slowly heal. This era also includes the Superbowl National Anthem "performance".

Between early 2016 and September 2016 she was almost completely silent as she focused on recording Joanne. Then the Joanne album era started. It also contained the mini-eras for the Superbowl Halftime Show and her Coachella performance ( thereby releasing The Cure as a standalone single). The Joanne era officially ended with her releasing Joanne ( the piano version ) in January 2018. Then again there was a short era of absence ( also due to her having to cancel almost all European dates of JWT ) before, in Summer 2018 the ASIB era started with the movie premiering in Venice and the first official interview solely about it. Due to the overwhelming success of both movie and soundtrack the era did not end until the end of Awards season in early 2019. Also, in December 2018 the Enigma era started, which we are in rn. No sign of LG6 at this moment :selena: .

I hope, this was sufficient enough and I didn't get anything wrong :enigma:  :vegas:

I know TMB tour ended in 2011, but the BTW single and Judas were allready released before that. Plus the whole BTW hype was going on, the visuals, he horns, the vessel etc. In 2011, nobody was busy with TFM anymore. The tour was just still very successful. To me TFM era ended when she anounced BTW while wearing the meat dress at the vma's. Then came a pre BTW era till the first single was released.

Just like TF era ended when she started bleeding to death on stage at the vma's as well. Since the bleeding became signature for TFM era. And the meatdress idea was later reused in the BTWB tour as well.

Yes, those two eras blended but there isn't really personal interpretation as in ''for me'' in this topic. The era starts and ends with official events related to the album. I know everybody relates and perceives the eras differently but every era should have an objective duration.
