There is such a lack of detail and context here so I have nothing to base an opinion on, let's not attack him.

Maybe she just wanted him to sleep over. Actually just SLEEP. When she observed his gross drooling reaction she probably changed her mind. I can't with people who think sleep over means f*ck.

She's not an obsessed fan girl and you ain't that hot.

Charlie Puth? more like Charlie PUTA!@@@

None of y'all better support this Dr. Luke, trump supporting barely average looking r*t.

If you want to stan white boys with mediocre talent and above average looks better go to Mr. Mendes for that.

I really thought this was going to be so much worse than what was actually said and it's actually really reasonable. You really wouldn't assume sex if you're both of the same orientation and they ask you to sleep over? Sleepovers are for schoolkids and they're a same sex gathering unless there's one exception who's gay normally. They're not for grown adults and only involving two people. I'd totally assume this was a code phrase for what they actually wanted or was their way of saying that they're not ready tonight but might be soon and are slowly testing the waters. What's the point in having a guy friend sleep over if you're not into him that way? And she did it 5 times? That's definitely weird and like he says, it was clear this was just a mind game at this point. There's many a girl who's left a guy hanging by not being into him but liking the power she has over him, knowing that he's into her. It's an ego stroking exercise and it's not cool. And I say this as a female feminist.

For those saying that what he said wasn't right, maybe it could have been worded better but you know he's essentially saying that this girl didn't want a romantic relationship with him on any level, so he backed out because they wanted different things. He could have just as well said "I wasn't getting what I wanted out of this relationship" and you know it. People are so quick to offend now. He even said if she didn't want to do anything that was fine, he just didn't like how she seemed to be making it into a game. Chill, he's no predator.

Honestly, idc. He makes basic, rubbish, generic, annoying music :madge:  Why is he popular?

Because people like you give him attention even when they dislike him 🤷‍♂️
