Wow....the anger.

The worrying over her vocals was valid and came from a place of concern, not malice. You just want to pretend that you are better than others but at the end of the day you are on here like the rest of us.

This is you projecting. If you feel that my comments somehow targeted you, then I would recommend evaluating your own behavior and what you put out into the universe.

I in no way shape or form said that everyone on GagaDaily are bad people. I love GagaDaily, I use it daily. Not everyone is negative, and the positive ones are the ones who make this site great.

But if we want to get technical, if being a decent human being and being kind to others based on your definition makes me better than those who are not...then I guess that is true.

I Said What I Said Real Housewives Of Atlanta GIF by Bravo TV

There are Americana, various folk influences all over but the overarching genre is pop. Most songs have the ABABCB pop structure too and they're very accessible, not experimental in any way. :flop:

She herself called it a pop record in interviews multiple times. :hor:

I'd agree. All of her solo albums are pop albums, it's simply that imagery and influences on various tracks pull from other genres.

It's still a pop album.

Yes! If we started going my imagery, Born This Way would be hard rock, metal, or something. :ladyhaha: and it's really not.

Cowboy hat doesn't mean country. There sure are country influences though - Million Reasons and Grigio Girls mostly. Sinner's Prayers is more folk.

Edit: we should be done with this topic unless we want WPs for off topic :flop:

Maybe I’m just thinking of 2009-2014 pop, but that album as a whole just does not feel like a pop record and all :derpga:

Exactly.

We could call out Americano. We could call out You and I. We could call out Paper Gangsta for goodness sakes. The influences on those songs do not somehow make the record as a whole not a pop record.

Yeah that's for sure. It isn't that electro or synth like her previous pop albums and sounds very different but in the grand scheme of music, it's still pop.

What's funny is the only song she's released that could be fully called country is Shallow :ladyhaha: One of the things that defines pop music is the structure and Shallow doesn't have a first chorus. Imagine Bradley singing "I'm off the deep end" :flop:

This is throwing me back to the pre-BTW era when she released the album cover and some Monsters didn't like it so they were like "Guyssssss, she's gonna fool us three times like Judas."

Gaga should, for one show, lip sync to a version Bradley recorded, just to have a little fun, that would be so funny :ladyhaha:
