KleinGa 18,177
All streaming services will cost approximately $133.87 (if you go with the cheapest plan each service has to offer). With the introduction of all the new streaming services, it looks like the problem streaming was created to solve (the sheer expensiveness of Cable) has returned in a new look. This seems as if we still have cable but online https://comicbook.com/movies/2019/10/29/streaming-video-what-does-netflix-hulu-cost/#13 Do you think music labels have any incentive to do what networks have done and want to go it on their own and pull out of a centralized platform like Spotify? I don't see why the networks just didn't negotiate themselves into a partnership with Netflix. This is literally hurting consumers so much

At least not enough for what they could earn themselves.
JazzGa 14,621
I don't really feel like I need to buy more than 1 or 2 of those services at a time. I only have 1 set of eyeballs lol. While Netflix has a ton of content, the amount of original content that's just plain trash is crazy. Their quantity over quality approach really was a terrible idea. But I'm excited that they have people like Ryan Murphy, David Weiss and Beinoff and Shonda Rhimes creating new content for them. Hopefully that sends them in a new direction. I get Hulu on a Spotify+Hulu student plan which I only pay $5 monthly for I only use it to watch shows that are on air because it has the episodes the day after With Prime, they have a OVERBUDGET everything approach. Literally all of their original content has wayy too high of a budget but always with such poor writing and execution. Literally the new LOTR series will cost $1 BILLION dollars Amazon spares no expense. I'm excited for Apple TV+ because I think the writing and quality of the shows will be superior. Apple always attempts to appeal to people of more refined tastes with their marketing and content and with the lineup of shows to be released this Friday (The Morning Show, SEE, For All Mankind) it seems as if they're coming with the QUALITY. For now though, I'll stick with Netflix until HBO Max launches and I explore their content. Their original shows seem to be the most quality.

While making a profit is the goal, you have to be able to think about what it does to your consumers. Imagine if you invest millions into creating a new streaming service and pull out of Netflix but consumers don't switch because of how saturated the market is and how expensive it all is in total. You end up losing millions.

No way in hell I'd pay for it, especially not the commercial free one. This kitten over here (meow)
