Gaga is a celebrity. Celebrities need to get used to it. It is not a good situation but it’s the reality. You can’t compare those two. Also I’m done with this thread because people can’t be objective even if their life depended on it.

Being a celebrity doesn't give you the right to (pretty much) stalk someone, take pictures without their permission ect ect... Its inhumane to expect so much of someone when they bearly know you.  If think Gaga was rude, cool. But just because people like me are defending her doesn't mean we think she "is a god that can do no wrong".

If you tell celebs that they have to suck it up because of who they are, we will end up with another Amy situation.

Have you not listened to anything she’s spoken about recently at her jazz shows

do you know how many pop stars that become famous pretty young have issues with feeling lonely while constantly surrounded and develop depression and other illnesses and the such? Not to sound harsh like those people who say “she doesnt owe you sh*t”, but she doesn’t necessarily have to interact with every fan if she doesn’t want to

she’s exhausted

Well some people don’t care about her exhaustion as long as she’s a CeLeBriTy and she’s got mOnEy. Some people here don’t even care about her well being.

Does it matter? Damage is done

Do you take all her lyrics as gospel about how she lives her life?

No but it's good to practice what you preach, especially when there's a good message behind like this which connects to all the love and kindness she keeps talking about. Maybe if she did that more often some members in here would've been friendlier to other people :vegas:

I get that you are sad but I also get Gaga. I almost was SO close to Gaga 4 times, 2 times in Venice, 2 times in Vegas. She was right in front all those 4 times but all those 4 times she left at the very second she would’ve come to me :selena: Sure I am like « what are the fuhing odds that she is right in front of me 4 times and I dont get to speak with her » but then I tell muself that other fans didn’t even see her perform and that irl I can’t really be mad/sad that I wasn’t able to speak with her. Just tell yourself a big part of her fanbase NEVER even saw her perform!

Or maybe respect boundaries set up by security and not make her feel like she had to escape

Are we reading the same forum? 90% of people threat her like she’s god and can’t do no wrong. Literally.

Ironic coming from you. This is how you act with Britney.

Just because it’s common with celebrities doesn’t mean it needs to be the norm. It’s obvious that Gaga is trying to make everyone aware of how dehumanizing being a celebrity can be. She wants to change that. She’s been saying this for years now, so no, she doesn’t need to get used to it. I understand both sides and I’m in no way hating on the OP because he understands Gaga probably just doesn’t feel like talking and that’s okay. This is solely towards you acting like it’s the biggest sin ever that Gaga didn’t wave. Have you never been in public and didn’t feel like talking to people you bumped into? Because I sure have and I don’t ever find it a bad thing if others feel the same way. We all have our social days and our antisocial days and that’s okay.

Yeah well I took your comment as childish in that OP couldn’t afford the meet&greet so he should be entitled to shimmy his way as close as possible to her and make her feel anxiety for the situation.

She doesn’t owe any fan a hi or a wave. Security is put in place as boundaries. Respect them.

She doesn’t owe any fan any interaction.

Good to know I myself have stalkers on this website. Also not true. I was pretty vocal about how rude she was when she rejected the fan who payed m&g just because she hugged her last years. Turns out you’re not that good of a fan.

It’s honestly not that serious. I said she was rude by not waving at him but I was more vocal about fans desperately protecting her in this thread. Yes I agree it shouldn’t be the norm but that will never change. Sorry but that is the fact. She can either get used to it or be bothered by it which can affect her health. In perfect world celebrities would be considered as normal people but that just can’t be the thing.
