This is why Trump won. :awkney: Liberals need to chill.

Actually Trump won because of Russia targeted  interference.

Imagine Gaga pulling a fan on stage, demanding he state his full name (making him vulnerable to online attacks,) then ordering him to swear allegence to her political point of view in front of a screaming crowd, then kicking the fan out when he refuses. It would never happen.

It’s hard to imagine a situation which is more clearly the antithesis of something Gaga would do.

I meant something she would do in relation to interacting with an audience member.

Which remains, obviously, true.

Yeah I agree, I was just quoting bc I don’t think YG was completely in the wrong when he has a kind of well known song called F Donald Trump. She would never embarrass someone for sure

Really appalled to find so many of you applauding this behaviour. This clip was even worse than I could've imagined. You're literally only supporting this because it an anti-Trump message. If this was an anti-Obama message while he was in office, you lot would've cancelled YG for eternity. A behaviour is either good or bad, there shouldn't be validation for it sometimes or else the entire standard must be thrown out the window.

He actually had the audacity not to see why this guy might have not wanted to say this. He just said to say your name because all your family's watching...which is probably one of the biggest reasons why he didn't want to be recorded saying the f word! I'm the type of person who's never sworn in front of my family, I'd never live such a thing down. And he likely didn't want to be a target for Trump haters because when a clip spreads of social media, people can hound you for whatever reason. To be put on the spot like that and be told to say a political view that you may not even agree with and then reject them when they refuse is unacceptable, what an awful thing to do to your fans. I hope that poor guy has respect for himself and never supports YG again - such people don't deserve fortune, fame and fans. People who have "adapt or die" approaches when it comes to their opinions are nightmares to be around and this kinda behaviour really shows him up for what he is. To say "you have to make up your mind by the end of the night" and then tells him what to think anyway is arrogance of the highest order. A singer of all people, should not be dictating how the public should think regarding politics. They may offer opinions but by no means enforce them.

I'm not saying any of this out of support for Trump, by the way, I'm as against him as most of you but being forced into saying you hate him on stage, while being recorded and posted on social media is a situation that none of you can relate to until you've walked in the shoes of this humiliated fan. Seriously, liberalism is a cult these days, don't agree with one little thing and it's instant cancellation. Individualism and coming to an independent conclusion is no longer encouraged. Would you cancel a pop music fan because there was the occasional pop singer they didn't like? If not, why do we expect every liberal to think exactly the same way about every situation or they're a secret conservative?

I hate Trump but what the **** is wrong with some of you thinking bullying is okay because your opinions don't align

It's problematic that he was so aggressive in trying to get him to say his whole name out loud, be recorded, etc. sure - even if he did hate Donald Trump, he might not want his family, friends, etc. to know or he just might be afraid of any publicity at all. Those are valid fears and concerns.

But the "throwing him off the stage" part of it to me is purely practical. The show has to go on and the fan has decided he isn't going to help that, so kick him off and continue. That's generally how that works.

I don't think he was removed from the venue or anything, everywhere reporting on this is just following "kicked off the stage". That'd be a bit different.
