I didn't mean she should go back to dance pop. I don't think she can sell that anymore. She should completely rebrand for the long term and try to find a new audience. I believe she could do it, I really do. Some of her ballads are beautiful. She just needs the right team advising her and at the moment,  she has people who clearly don't have a clue what to do with her.

It's not about the quality of the song or the promotion. Have you had a look at the top 100? 95% of it is trash and the other 5% are evergreens. People just aren't here for Katy or just don't care. Happens all the time. in 2013/14 it wouldn't have mattered what Gaga had released. Gaga has always had a strong fanbase and cult following whereas Katy was always more of a GP-Radio person. Gaga shaped the late 2000s and early 2010s so much that people now feel nostalgic for her. Kind of like what happened to Britney. She was everybody's darling in the late 1990s. Then it became cool to hate her, but then everybody loved her again, because she reminded them of all the iconic pop culture moments she gave us. Katy Perry was just always... there. And now the GP has moved on the Rap, Trap.

I- Sorry lmao I'm so messy, I didn't even think of it being a joke  i suffer from anxiety and I'm usually scared people are being mean so I usually am in defensive mode from the beginning sorry it's OK tho

But on topic I just wanna say in general, I never usually pay attention to nasty/bad comments about my favourite artists but... The free wickedness of certain comments here are disturbing. Some people in this fanbase have always shown a negative obsession towards Katy and seriously need a psychiatrist to talk to about it and to go out and make a life for real and not be bothered by Katy Perry enough to offend her and insult her continuously for no reason online lmao
