I see the merit in the claims by those two... especially if they've been litigating it for 2 years.

It's already a mess that Lizzo didn't immediately offer to give up some credit to Mina tbh. I don't see her as a bad faith actor, but it seems like she picked the lesser beast to deal with by picking her. As to whether "any" part of Truth Hurts comes from "Healthy"... If they have actual audio of the demo and helped create any of it - including the production, melody, etc. that the iconic line "I just took a DNA test turns out I'm 100% that bitch" is played over...

Then she owes them some in my mind. I would take them less seriously if they again hadn't been litigating this since well before the track became popular.

If a phrase makes someone millions of dollars but you came up with it - wouldn’t you make a big deal out of it?

They aren’t acting like it’s curing a deadly disease but plagiarism is a thing we need to keep on top of.
