My first reaction was to scoff at this as well but I did a quick search and trans men can and do menstruate depending on how far along they are. It takes approx. 3 months for menstruation to typically stop and some have continuous symptoms for years. This doesn't even touch on non-binary people as well. Honestly, I've learnt so much in just those 2 minutes I Googled it, just have a read. Very interesting. I wouldn't say it was fake news at all, its actually clever marketing if anything.
