Compared to what other Western democracies are going through, this election was not that bad.

Also there is not much difference between three traditional parties when it comes to climate action: https://www.cbc.ca/news2/interactives/confronting-carbon2/

Only the Greens take necessary decisive action to eliminate burning fossil fuels, I hope they hold a lot of sway under this minority gov't!

I dont know a lot about the NDP climate plans other than that they oppose the oil sands

 

tho i dont even know if thats the best thing to focus on cuz any divestment here means more investment somehwere else like US Shale. What needs to be targeted is consumption and making green energy :shrug:

 

As for the Green party, while i admire the environmental aspect of their politics, they also have some policies that would totally screw up the economy in my opinion. Our standard of living would plumet in not time :shrug:
