No more identities are posible. I’m Australian, and here “race” is kind of a redundant term. We mainly speak about nationalities as we are a nation of young migrants. That is, unless you are an indigenous Australian, which we can say colloqially as Aboriginal, or “black”, or “blak”, even though skin colour is usually not an indicator of indigenous status, and it’s more about lifestyle and awareness of ones own Aboriginal heritage. Australians are kind of a microcosm of the world, we have every colour of the rainbow represented. Race is not a big deal but some intercultural rivalries still exists. Catalonians keep protesting for independence. France has had Yellow Vest protests for almost a year now. Sweden is as violent as it’s ever been. Europe can’t hide from the problems of the world any longer. Problems that European Imperialists started more than 100 years ago. I feel like Europe is heading for a new Dark Ages tbh. Yes there are major problems you can't blame that 50 000 people entering a 70 millions citizens country. The austerity policies that were taken after the financial crisis made people no matter the political side loose their faith in politics. I'm french and yellow vest movement has nothing to do with immigration, France is a very socialist country and Macron is not respecting that, lol trump could have never been president in France people would have cut his head already. And i have relatives in France and they are all concerned that the respect for authority is disappearing. They mostly all hate Trump...yet weirdly, they also respect him. Or they respect his economic achievements and ability to speak to the “common man”. Too many out of touch “leaders” know perfectly how to talk to the media and smile for the cameras but can’t even talk to an ordinary man on the street. Europe is just fine sis. Prostesting is nothing new in France. Catalonians have been protesting for indepencence for ages and its not even violent in contrary to the ETA and IRA terrorism in the 70's and 80's. Speaking of terrorism. Europe had in the 80's 16 terrorism attacks in 10 years. It had from 2000 until now 14 attacks in 19 years. We survived WO 1, WO2 and the cold war last century fincancial crisses and a civil war in ex- yugoslavia. We're just fine sis. Trump was elected mostly because he was usually speaking to the workers, that's problem of populism, people think populists are the only that care about them but in fact it's all a lie. I think Europe clearly needs a big reform that would be closer to the people's claims.

I’m talking about violent revolutions that happen because the upper classes keep telling the lower classes that “everything is fine”. It happened in 1789, 1848 and 1917 and it’s gonna happen again because the elites keep saying the same thing. History is always repeating itself. The elites never want to listen to the populists. No, he got elected because he spoke to poor workers. And guess what? He made them richer by giving them jobs. The average worker is now $4000 a year better off than compared to four years ago. And America has record LOW unemployment. This is obviously not good news for the elites, but it’s the reason why Trump is a massive success.
NothingOnButTheRad 3
Every country in the world has problems. I’ve lived in Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Los Angeles and now Albania. They all have their issues but nothing is falling apart. Countries will always have issues. I moved back to France recently and people were making it sound like the yellow west’s were setting the country on fire. It was fiiiine. Just don’t go to their demonstration places on Saturday’s and you’re Gucci. And Swedes are still living their high standard life and so are the Dutch. Don’t be so dramatic.
