KingAlanI 3
Get a life, nothing but jealousy and ignorance on your part. I'm not jealous of someone obsessed with Gaga to the point of thinking that this is a good idea. I do need to get a life, but being unwilling to do this is not the reason why. JeffSwift 314
Oh my I just read on LM that some people are going to camp for 3 weeks for the LA show....HOW can they even get away with that? I'm curious..and I mean by law.Doesn't that fall under loitering? That falls under being homeless To everyone b---hing about people who wait: When it comes down to it, it is about dedication. It's about the people who will sit on the streets and wait to meet Lady Gaga. If you do not like that, stalk her life/hotels and meet her that way. It's totally fair that the people who wait the longest should get backstage. If someone has been there for a whole day and you show up an hour before showtime, why should you get to be in the front. Although, waiting for more then 3-4 days without having a hotel down the street is absolute madness to me lmao. I'll wait like 2 days at the most + bring like 10 tubes of deodorant and cologne. HybridWarhol 7
For those who say its because the person love Gaga and its passion. NO, its just a freaking weird over obsession. This. That kind of fan obsession is actually disturbing. :wtf:
LauraL 0
As much as we all wanted to be front row in the pit, you know what REALLY made camping out for all of us? The atmosphere. It was the best 2 weeks of my life. Getting to hang out with your friends you've made through Gaga, having an amazing time and in the end getting to see Gaga up close...that was what made it. The UK/Ireland group of fans have NEVER been closer, and honestly, if you think we're freaks...well, that's your opinion. We can't change that. But I'm not judging anyone for what they do or do not do, same way you really shouldn't judge us until you've experienced it yourself. If you do it, and then still decide we're obsessed freaks, fine. But it's easy to judge based on no experience. Fact is, the experience was exactly what Gaga wants in her fanbase. A large group of people with similar interests, having the best time of their lives and walking out of it as amazing friends. Call us obsessed, I'm not going to say anyone is less dedicated, but it's one of the best experiences of my life. Hands down. And for those saying we don't have lives...I'm in my final year of university and have a lot going on in my life. Everyone can make time for things they really want to do. KingAlanI 3
The one other Gaga fan I know in real life would not be willing to do this. The Gaga fans I know online are from other parts of the country/world so would be going to different BTWB's anyway. How would you safely store your camping equipment during the show? Also, I'm probably traveling to an NYC BTWB. * Would it be harder to do this in NYC, or any other city you don't live in? * I'll take a bus/train to/from NYC and want to be in and out without luggage, probably coming a bit earlier and leaving a bit later on the same day
sweetpinkcupcake24 0
I plan on going to the Brooklyn concert in New York. I live in North Carolina and have already made arrangements to stay with my friend or my mom. My friend and I will be camping out but are going to have someone come pick up our stuff that we cannot bring in to the venue. My advice to someone who is traveling to New York for either concert would be to rent a hotel room that is very close to the venue to store everything you need and store any camping equipment.
