AndyVenom 20
I think the fact that people who can take that time off or camp out for so long, assume that everyone who doesn't is 'not as big of a fan as I' and sort of 'better' annoys people We don;t actually think that... Vanilla 660
We don;t actually think that... Let's agree to stop making blanket statements? :P I'm sure some Monsters feel that way though I won't die, but I can't live without you
LAMB 0
Sometimes they get the cops out here in the US but that's only when it gets really crowded. The cops usually stay calm for awhile until the crowd starts going crazy when they know they have to run Oh gosh. I can only imagine. I would feel silly funny like a crazy person. But I guess when there's a hundred other people aiming for a close spot, it doesnt really matter. Anyone wanna tell theyre tale of the 'stampede? lol
abercrombiescruffy 0
I think the fact that people who can take that time off or camp out for so long, assume that everyone who doesn't is 'not as big of a fan as I' and sort of 'better' annoys people A lot of people that camp don't have that attitude.... we understand that others can't but we could and isn't that what free enterprise is... Wait so 8am rule is or is not enforced? I'm confuzzled Hehe Confuzzled Awwww I Love that word <3 I've gotta say I'm kinda upset by the majority of the responses in this thread. Let me introduce myself... I have a life, I have friends, I have a full time job and I am not mentally unstable. I was able to start camping for the Manchester show 8 days beforehand and was it worth it? Yes it was. Camping is to be enjoyed! People have this misconception about camping out like it's one of the most daunting things to do in the world, when actually, it's more about friends coming together and having fun. I don't think I'm sad and I had the best time camping out, in which I succeeded while most of you are moaning behind a computer screen, I was out having a blast with my friends, and we're the ones with no life? We don't just camp out for Gaga, we camp out because it is an experience as a whole. I have a full time job and I'm entitled to 28 days holiday pay and if I want to choose to do that with my free time then it is my and every right to do so. Not only am I dedicated fan, but I like to think my friends had a big part in this. Some friends in particular I don't often see unless there is a Gaga event happening in my country, it's a special experience. Also this silly questions about toilet issues are making me laugh, these people clearly haven't camped a day in their lives! People can watch our spaces while we head to a public toilet, that isn't even an issue. People are also wondering what we do during the daytime too... We do what we always do, we party. ^ YAY

SwirleyWehrle 0
I heard one. I think it was two, because something about "worth camping out for two weeks to meet GaGa was worth it!!" was on her Facebook

Cody said in the Houston thread that they all arrived together, but then later said that Erika arrived the night before them. And now Erika's saying two weeks?

That's such a long time to camp out though

Cody said in the Houston thread that they all arrived together, but then later said that Erika arrived the night before them. And now Erika's saying two weeks? The whole thing is shady tbh. My friend set up a tent there a week before Ericka even got there but he was at his hotel when they all supposedly got there and then he wasn't the keyholder anymore, though Ericka and the others would leave all the time and it was okay. By their standards he would still be the keyholder.
Guille 949
The key holder in london camped out for NINE days. NINE ENTIRE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE WERE SPENT OUTSIDE IN A TENT JUST SO YOU CAN MEET GAGA!? Don't these people that camp out... 1 - Have jobs? or go to school? or have lives? 2 - Ever need to take a ****? 3 - Fear that they're going to get mugged or something? What the hell do you do during the daytime?! I just don't get it. THE KEY HOLDER IN BARCELONA CAMPED OUT FOR 20 DAYS STRAIGHT. BYE! :laughga:

Guille 949
I think It can be funny if you do it with friends, and I'd do it if I could. And you get a good spot and chance to meet Ggs
Lana Winters 731
Why wasn't this ever brought up? I would have sure made some noise if someone took my spot. Because he the group there and basically said **** it and stayed at his hotel for another day and got number 30 or something (he didn't realize so many showed up hours after the others). The others in the group were not in a separate spot waiting, they didn't show up until hours later so I don't get their story at all. It's all public lies tbh. Back on topic: I don't see why anyone would have a problem with people camping out if they actually made sure they had time and everything.
PokerFace 50
I camped out both in Sweden and in Denmark, I have friends who've been to more than 8 balls and camped for all of them. My friends camped over a week in Norway and it was -20 Celsius. If you are prepared to camp and have the stuff to do it it's so worth it! And really it takes effort, it costs a lot of money and you will have to take of from work and school. But if you're willing to do it, do it! It's so worth it, suffering for your love of music is what it's really all about! And you don't even suffer that much tbh, you get to know new people, get to know their stories, you meet people who share the same love for Gaga. It's really a part of the experience! Now after I've camped and I will always camp for Gaga, no matter if you get to go backstage or not. It's worth it. The amazing people you meet & the experience are worth it all!
