rivingtonrebels 245
7am should be fine to get into the Monster Pit (don't get hung up on being front row, anywhere in the pit is a brilliant view) - possibly with the exception of New York & LA. Thanks :) I'm in Vancouver so hopefully won't be an issue! Our arena is in the middle of the city and there won't really even be space to camp out.... burqaswagg 0
In Manchester, they had the Monster Pit line ready at 5am (it was already full) and we were taken down at 8am to the actual line. It depends on the arena/stadium really. Also, the 8am rule isn't enforced because it wasn't Gaga's or her securities decision, it was LiveNation. Her head of security, Scott, is more than happy for people to camp.
iAmDavy 0
What I don't understand, is how/where people are camping out with the 8AM rule? Is the rule being enforced? Will we will be disqualified from the MP for waiting before 8AM? I have my own plans and ideas for my concert in Brooklyn, but I don't wanna share them lol The person who waited 8 days, where was your campsite in relation to the arena? Alien Tulip 12,428
I wouldn't camp out because you are not guaranteed to hold the key or even be in the pit.

The 8am rule isn't an actual rule. Gaga and her team DO NOT enforce it; it was set up by LiveNation. You will not be disqualified from the MP. However, if the arena/stadium you go to wishes to enforce it, then listen to them, don't ignore them. Our campsite was at the arena; they have a designated area for those camping overnight. ELEGANS 1
Gaga even told some of my friends that the doesn't mind us camping, it was livenation that came up with the rule and NOT Gaga.
KingAlanI 3
Why do you think days earlier is ridiculous? No one really seems to be giving me a justifiable reason as to why camping for a long period of time is ridiculous. I've already explained the entire situation and none of it seems stupid. It seems ridiculous on its face. It seems like an example of crazy stan behavior. Being able to leave and have someone hold your spot seems to kind of defeat the point. Runway 27,876
I would do it if my parents let me, they think it's dangerous. That ****ing b---h changed my whole life forever, before her i even considered suicide and other bull****, so i think i can wait for her for a few days on the street, especially because no one's forcing me, its coming right from my heart, and meeting her would be one of the greatest things i could ever ask for. tiffa 169
AND? I camped out for EIGHT days in Manchester. We have jobs, and thankfully decent PAID jobs that allow us to take paid vacations which enables us to do things like this. I went in with the Keyholder and met Lady Gaga. I regret NOTHING. tiffa 169
I am the Keyholder for the show in Manchester on the 11th September 2012. I camped for 8 days outside the arena. I had a friends house nearby where I could shower and do everything I needed easily. So no, I didn't attend the show stinking, I didn't (nor did anyone else at any other show) have to wear a diaper because I am not 6 months old and no, I didn't have a job or school to attend because I had previously booked time off from work and I didn't start school until the 13th. I didn't do this because 'omg mother monsta is my life and omg i wanna meet her so much lolz', I did it because this woman is my everything and I don't usually have the oppurtunity to chase her around the country to meet her. I'm dedicated and persistant and if that means having narrow minded, supposedly accepting and caring fans discuss mine and 50+ other people's then I'd do it all over again. I sat with her for 20 minutes talking about everything and I regret absolutely nothing (she didn't have to bear with me stinking either because 1) I'd taken this thing called a 'shower' and 2) DEODERANT). Yes, I have responsibilities but my friends, family, boss and co-workers all know what this Gaga has done for me and they would drop everything if it meant I had this oppurtunity. Just because you can't be bothered to camp for more than 48 hours, doesn't mean I can't. I've never felt so amazing about anything until the moment she told me how happy she was to see dedicated fans than want something so much they don't let other people get in their way. This fanbase is one of the worst around and personally, I don't think I can deal with all of it anymore. I'm here for Gaga and her music, none of you. The legendary KEYHOLDER has spoken. I don't even care what people think about us. We do not need to justify ourselves. Personally, I feel some people are envious that they cannot be as passionate and dedicated about something as we are. They don't know what it feels like to feel joyious, even for the smallest things, and that makes me feel sorry for them. Their life must be dull and boring. Well, there's hardly a dull moment in ours.
gagaismywhore 1
I couldn't do it myself, but I have so much respect for the people who do. Well done guys, you deserve to meet her after so much dedication. :worship:

I left for no more than an hour each time and personally, I don't think it has anything to do with you.

conormugler 0
It's so crazy and so so fun. If you do it properly, it's almost like a luxury thing to do, it's all about the experience; with all your favourite people in suspense for the concert, drinking most nights and listening to Gaga etc best 5 days ever
