I'm curious because unless you're doing some sort of bubblegum take on disco like ABBA or something, the genre tends to require more soulful singing (hence why so many soul and R&B singers had so many disco hits in the 70s and ealry 80s). I'm not sure how her voice is. But Nile Rogers is involved and he's a literal legend in electronic music and funk so I'm kind of perched.

Good points! I think if a popgirl can pull it off it will be her though because she does have a smokey/dark/heavy tone to her voice and a bit of soulfulness in her imo (listen to "Thinking Bout You")! Though I heard that this lead will be a major bop so it will probably lean in closer to the bubblegum uptempo genre of disco.
