As people have already said, Gaga has many styles. I agree with what you're saying though. I've seen so many of those "700 voices, one girl" impression videos and they can absolutely nail everyone else, except Gaga. Gaga does have a unique voice, but her technique is even more unique. LGMonster95 13,704 Posted October 5, 2019 Share Posted October 5, 2019 I don't know but her voice is just so amazing and unique and it's not just her technique (which on itself is outstanding and the way it should be, she doesn't oversing etc) but her voice on itself is perfect, it can be lovely, dramatic, powerful, theatrical etc. I heard a lot of singers which some of them have amazing techniques but their voices aren't that good, others with good voices but bad techniques idk but for me Gaga is just PERFECT. She can sound like Amy Whinehouse and Judy Garland tone wise in the same song and switch to Freddy Mercury and Elton John in another. Gaga is very knowledgeable when it comes to music. Not only is she a piano prodigy but she is a vocalist. Gaga, like Christina have enough knowledge about their own voices that they can brighten and darken their tone within seconds. Most singers tend to stick with one technique and one tone color- which is good- but a select few can switch it up whenever they want, like Gaga. Gaga has insane control of her voice, never over does it with Adlibs and melismas and vocal acrobatics. She has a fantastic belt. She also has an amazing soft, feminine head voice that sounds almost ethereal upon listen(I’ll never love again, Sound of music, etc).
