Sanders Raised Record 25.3M in Q3 Campaign Cycle

Featured Posts

The presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders announced Tuesday that it raised $25.3 million from 1.4 million individual donations in the third quarter of 2019, the largest fundraising quarterof any 2020 Democratic White House contender thus far.

The Sanders campaign said the average third-quarter donation was just $18, "teacher" was the most common profession of donors, and Starbucks, Amazon, and Walmart were the most common employers of donors.

Sanders's third-quarter fundraising boom was "fueled by a September haul that set a Bernie 2020 record for total amount raised and number of individual contributions in a single month," the campaign said in a press release.

"The final day of the third quarter was the second biggest fundraising day of the campaign," said the campaign. More than 99.9 percent of Sanders's donors since the start of the campaign in February can give again.

WHAT A RECORD! This is how you know campaign season is in full force.

This brings his total fundraising up to 61.5M this cycle so far. The CNN pundits are going to have to think of a new way to say he needs to drop out now. :gayhat:

Really happy to hear that -- hopefully he continues to push the political conversation in the right direction, regardless of who wins. I do want Bernie to stay in the race, and in politics, as long as possible.

They matter. They have a margin for error yes and therefore not a perfect predictor but they still give a rough idea of how a candidate is doing

This clip is nauseating. They hate him so, so much. :madge:

A two person race?! :air: Warren polls one or two points above Sanders in the national polling and they start claiming it's a two person race, several months in advance of the first primary states, after downplaying Sanders' chances when he was in second for months, after his polling has gone up according to several recent polls. And right after he raises a record amount of money from a record number of individual donors.

And claiming that he's "rounding out the top tier" with Pete Buttigieg when Buttigieg is polling in the low single digits and Sanders is neck and neck with Biden and Warren in the early primary states and close in the national polling... Total insanity.

Anyone claiming that the media has been fair in their coverage of this election is lying.

EDIT: And they even got the number wrong. :air: They erased a million dollars from the total for no reason. :air:

BUT BUT @OG Gaga Stan I JUST FEEL LIKE BERNIES OVER. He’s so unlikable. Oh my god. And he’s OLD. NOT EVEN A DEMOCRAT. He even HATES women. His plans aren’t even detailed. He goes out there and screams Medicare for All but doesn’t have any idea how to implement it. He doesn’t have real solutions.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Actually they do as they usually dictate who gets the most airtime(good or bad) and debate time.

Props and congrats to Bernie!

The mainstream media are so laughably biased against him. It's actually almost comical at this point if it wasn't so infuriating.

So great to have two great progressive candidates leading the primary and sending a big FVCK YOU to the establishment :applause:

And I'm proud to support both and am completely okay with either of them winning it.

Let's hope it isn't all ruined though by the those on the left who will look for anything to discredit a candidate and try to turn everyone against them. That's a strategy to lose and look how it's turned out. Yup, we continue to lose because we fight about everything instead of uniting behind a candidate once one's been chosen.

Politics is literally about compromise. You're never gonna get everything you want from a candidate and every single one will have some issue or another. You gotta be an adult about it and realize the point is to WIN and then push that candidate toward what you want done.

It's perfectly reasonable to debate and argue during a primary like this. It's the point. But once it's been decided yall need to do some soul-searching and unite behind the candidate or we're never gonna fvcinkg win anything!

The left continues to fail at this and is the reason why we lose. It's not to say we pretend our disagreements aren't there. Rather, agree to disagree for the election in the interest of getting our side to win, then debate and go through those disagreememts once we have won.

Such a better strategy and one that's actually a winning strategy. As opposed to the one the left usually does which is splinter and fight meanwhile the right unifies completely and ends up winning...
