Oh yeah that's right, forgot it can't be nominated twice even though Shallow had its big moment in 2019.

Guess she probably won't win for either of those songs :selena: ROTY is a slight possibility because that's more about songwriting and how much the voters just like the song, rather than commercial performance and popularity.

I think you mean SOTY here, but I agree. Shallow had more chances last year, since it was a huge hit - but we can still be surprised. Since Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?) [Piano Version] won in its category last year amongst much, much bigger hits, it feels like Grammy voters like our girl and could end up giving her unexpected trophies, even if yea, it's unlikely.

She is going to win at least another Grammy for sure, plus she may perform INLA or ARUTW, both hits and fan favourites, ASIB the gift that keeps on givingwoody harrelson crying GIF

If INLA and/or ARUTW is nominated then maybe it would be nice if Gaga actually performs those tracks for the first time outside of the movie!

I'm curious about whether or not they submitted nominations to more categories- it seems likely, and I hope so, but still. The competition might be tight in those big three categories, especially considering it's an older album.

But! It's a really great album with quality music, so at least they have that, whether or not their campaign ends up amounting to anything.

I low key think they might have no submitted it to the small categories to avoid the committee from awarding it those small categories as pitty prizes. Now the grammy committee will have to pick ASIB for at least one of these bigger categories. It's a gamble but it could be worth it.

I’m sure they’ve submitted INLA. Why else would they certify it before ARUTW?

Sadly I think you are right. I will never understand why they did not push ARUTW was the official single after Shallow seeing as she released no new music and seeing as ARUTW was still showing signs of life up until like even end of July / start of august :cryga: We cry and moan about how she wasted Monster & Starstruck etc.. as singles but really the REAL hit that got away was ARUTW :cryga:

Spirit is not winning visual media lmao, you’re forgetting Sunflower is also eligible

True, it'll probably be between Sunflower and ARTUW, then...But this is Bey's first solo outing since Lemonade was snubbed, and there was so much backlash because of the Lemonade snub I could see that working in favorite of "Spirit." Plus, those Disney $$$$$—Disney will push a campaign for the soundtrack and Spirit  (the Gift is superior to the soundtrack, but I don't think it qualifies because none of the songs except Spirit were in the actual film). I still think even with a Disney campaign, the ASIB soundtrack will take the compilation grammy.
