Openly sharing your own personal experience with a mental illness is one thing. Describing another person (a child at that) as mentally ill, in this case comparing her to scientists, is, in this context, meant to lower her significance in this battle for climate control.

It's like calling someone with a tested low IQ "stupid." Like, yeah. Factually, their intelligence was scored at a lower standard than others, but talking about it isn't any of your business.

You're being extremely offensive to people who are actively fighting the mental health stigma, by the way. And if you can't see how, there's nothing I or anyone on this forum can say or do to rationalize your way of thinking.

There's a huge difference in calling yourself that casually and someone bringing it up as a negative fact in an interview because it's the only thing you can pull out of your ass.

Can you just leave, like please; it's incredibly toxic to call someone out for having a mental illness and even is toxic of you to defend the guest for saying that.

I understand everyone has different opinions but you cannot spew such negativity on a site based on kindness.

However you can't really understand  someone agreeing with a fox guest calling a girl mentally ill which in turn pushes this belief that Greta has absolutely no understanding on what she is talking about

but it's true, it doesn't matter how Greta looks like, or if she behaves a little different, her arguments are  true and most important

 

even if a person is mentally ill, if what they say is true, it shouldn't matter 

 

and if climate change is real or not is not debatable anymore at this point

You're the worst thing about today's society, if you're so old you may remember something called manners and common decency towards fellow human being, especially kids. Grow up and get a grip not everything is about a left wing agenda, it's just basic human manners not to bring up someone's disability to demoralise them on national TV, whether she has Asperger's or not. Adults are the ones acting like kids these days.
