Why do fans doubt Gaga?

when they moved ASIB’s release date from November to May the rumor in the film industry was that screenings were disastrous and it wasn’t going to be up for much oscar buzz so they moved it up. the rumor is also that the movie was saved in editing and then moved to October. so i personally was very reticent about the whole thing.

as for why i sometimes doubt her...... come on, she’s had many missteps in her career that can be reason enough to doubt her next move. do i hope for the best? always, i’m a little monster til the day i die but the bitch gives me a frickin headache with the things she does sometimes.

in summation: i hope LG6 is wonderful. if it’s not there’s always hope for LG7.

I believe these people only want Gaga being one thing only so they always against with Gaga expand her reach for another projects :triggered:

So sad and so true.

Rumi said it, and Jane Austen too.

I'm honestly convinced some people on this site genuinely WANT Gaga to fail :triggered:

The Bling

On a fanbase scale, because they're all pretty stuck up on one image/sound and they want her to stick to that one thing for the rest of her career, and are pretty much unable and unwilling to adjust to any other thing

In my case, because she's pretty inconsistent :selena: Sometimes she really serves, sometimes she's pretty lazy with her output

I'm really sceptical about LG6, but only time will tell, so why worry :lolly: it's not like our lives depend on her

We've seen her fail hard despise trying her best and I think it was traumatic.

I still want her to come out with groundbreaking projects and ideas, but ngl I still have flashbacks :poot:

I'm here though :vegas:

For instance, most people on here thought ASIB would flop and wanted Gaga to record The Cure mv instead of filming ASIB :fail:

Years later, it grossed over 400m worldwide, is critically praised and Gaga got an Oscar for it & a Best Actress Nomination + hundreds of awards for it. Shallow become one of her signature hits too.

Now, Haus Labs is getting mostly positive reviews from everyone even from makeup gurus like Jeffree Star. And people said it wouldn't do well.

Why?

If I had to guess half are pregnant and the other half are hormonal or menopausal 😝

Because she doubts herself. We're just tagging along.

I don't know about you guys but I came to join the delusion she was in at beginning of her career because it was fun.

most all the "betrayals" are fan inventions and based on rumors, and some are out of her control.   Gaga puts 100 percent into every new project to the best of her ability, nothing she's ever done was a "side project" to her.   For some reasons when she does something outside the bounds of what some fans have as their Gaga image, they feel the need to attack her or the project because "their" Gaga should not be doing that type of thing.

Fans claim she has made innumerable bad judgements, scrapped projects, and career missteps.  Yet here she is probably more globally famous than ever with a wider demographic of a fanbase than ever.    Pretty sure just about everyone would like her level of "missteps".   When she has hit bumps in the road, she picks herself up and goes back at it.   Gaga is not afraid to fail, and that is also why she is so successful.    Fans are so afraid of being dragged by other fanbases on behalf of Gaga that they just want her to play it safe all the time.

Innately, they don't "trust" her to follow their own script. So when she goes off-script, they tend to want to think her heart isn't really in it so she won't work at it.  She's never been that way though.  Ultimately Gaga's musical, artistic, and yes business interests are much wider than her average fans.

I get that, but its just make up, it wont make you feel any more empowered than any of the other 362768 brands out there. Just feels like she grabbed her own Born this way message and slapped it into the make up just because she is Gaga.

She couldve based the make up on music culture, avant garde fashion, and pish for something more original than "this make up will empower you because I say so"

I love the message because it's how I feel but the way they make it seem like the make up is the message annoys me so much.

They're still just trying to sell a product. If she wanted the people to hear the message she could have just posted a tweet or something.

I would love to create my own make up line so I can understand her truly wanting this. Not everything needs a bigger reason behind it but she doesn't seem to want to admit that.

What happend to 'The last thing the world needs is another beauty brand, but that's too bad.'. That was amazing.

insecurity, insecurity, insecurity.

That's it.

You need to realize yourself, be at ease in your own skin, to be supportive of other people's success. If you're failing you just want others to fail too. The fail wish. Jealousy. Envy. Let's all be part of Mediocrity Inc... At least we got something to share and we're not alone...

She has accomplished a lot in such a brief time. A decade in the game and she's already won awards, respect and ''future legend'' status. She might not be as mainstream as pop fans would want in order to feel that their fave is a chart freak like Drake but she has the longevity. You must be delusional to think this woman is not blessed or talented enough to succeed in everything she touches. :lolly:
