Please stop being mean y'all. The OP just stated an opinion and never that "Gaga shouldn't release that." Y'all are SO extra sometimes, and then you complain because "GGD is a toxic place".

OT: I guess the success of the album will depend on two things: her vocals need to be strong and the singles need to be catchy.

Lizzo's Juice is pretty much a funk music from the 70s-80s and it's very successful.

You forget one thing, nostalgia is mainstream now and people are thirsty for their childhood music.

We can see a change this year especially, when more and more songs are closer to the 80s-90s sound of pop and dance.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

I think those are instrumentals made just for the Haus Labs commercials. Of course you'd think LG6 will flop as those are just some vocal-less snippets. Gaga's in the game for over a decade, she knows what she's doing. I have faith in the creativity and artistry, which is better than potential commercial succes :staymad:

Your spelling, grammar, and punctuation are so bad, I can barely understand what you were trying to say.

LOL. Little monsters should stop or need to stop wanting what they want. Its whatever the F*** she wants to do. She is the creator , she is the mind. You are the audience. You either like it or you don't you can't control the process of creation of an artist. RESPECT IT.

I get what you mean, but we are allowed to want something from her. After all, this is a business and it’s important to connect with the audience and give them what they want. However, her own wishes as an artist are undoubtedly very important. Whether she likes it or not, Gaga’s music is a commodity, and the sooner she realizes that the better, because she can use that to her advantage. Madonna, David Bowie, Prince, and Michael Jackson did that.

Accepting the music for what it is sounds great in theory, but we want to see our favorite artists grow and change and evolve. People have standards and want to see progress. What if the album sounds underwhelming or bloated? That would be a 3+ year wait down the drain, and would be very damaging to her career. Many music artists kill their careers by taking long breaks and then disappointing fans after coming back with a lackluster album. So yes, she needs to translate her ideas and her artistic wishes into something that her fans will like.

I'd rather have a project like ARTPOP thats done correctly, which is the type of vibe I am getting from the producers and the Haus Labs music. EDM/Techno is making a big comeback actually... but regardless of that, she will score a number one album because all of her previous album except The Fame went number 1. I dont care if its a chart smash or if the singles do well... all that matters is that the music is good and well executed which I have good feelings about.

You shouldn't get caught up in the charts because its extremely toxic. Just enjoy the music

misunderstood

Imagine caring about charts more than the music itself will never understand that mentality. If the music is good that's really what matters to me :saladga:
