Public Religious Wear Ban: Quebec Demands Canada Not Interfear In Law

The Premier of Quebec is demanding that all Party Leaders running for Prime Minister respect Quebecs Sovereignty and not attempt to challenge Bill 21 which now prohibits all public sector workers from wearing any personal religious wear or symbols

 

Bill 21 is strongly opposed in most of Canada but has much higher support in Quebec.

 

Party Leaders when asked about it including Prime Minister Trudeau himself essentially beat around the bush not directly answering whether or not they would consider attempting to either challenge the bill in court or attempt to overrule it with a Federal Law

Quebec is why Energy East never happened as they refused to allow the pipeline in their land as they dont support Albertas oil industry they say

 

yet Quebec accepts momey and is the largest receiver of Canadas equalization payment program of which Alberta contributes too because if its energy industry

 

the hypocrisy is showing so brightly 

 

Anyway Quebec has always been problematic politically with the rest of Canada

 

then theres the constant bikering and economic sanctions Canadas most left Province British Columbia and Canadas most Right Winged Province Alberta do to eachother. They just had to be next to eachother on the map

 

Canada may not get the media exposure say the US does so let me tell u, this Country is super divided politically
