No!  It literally came in a padded envelope and inside is a clear plastic bag containing my order.  No mirror or postcard of any sort.

I really expected to get what all others received from HL - had I known, I would’ve just ordered directly from HL.  Unwrapping the Amazon package was really underwhelming (please do let me know if it’s any different for you!)

My Amazon order finally shipped around midnight last night and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. 

What I don't get is: why hype the Amazon collaboration if people who order off of Amazon are getting cheated out of the HL box, mirror, and lipliner promo? 

Am I going to have to use up my Meet & Greet time at Enigma asking LG about this?

Mine arrived today from amazon! No fancy packaging or free lip liner for me! I was excited about the free liner coupon, so I’m kind of wishing I had ordered through HL. And I could care less about a fancy box that I’ll throw away anyway! I’m just glad it came so soon! 

Products are amazing!! The amount of shimmer in the glam attacks is beyond! They are stunning! The lip liner is like butter! I could overline my lips and they didn’t look it. Usually they look terrible over lined. The liner stands very well on it’s own. But add the gloss and omg! I never thought my lips could look as luscious as Gaga’s but they looked so drippy! I was in love!! And the gloss own it’s own is perfectly tinted and perfectly glossy!! And they stay put! No bleeding or smearing. Most of the matte lip color topped with  gloss that I’ve used bleeds and spreads! Not these!!! And the best is the eye liner! Goes on so smooth!! It was the best wing I’ve ever done in one try! Dries so fast! Doesn’t budge!!! Ahhh I can’t say enough about it! I’m not a makeup guru by any means but she really turned this sh!t out!!! I’m so excited for what else she does!!! So proud of her and Sarah!!!

THIS.  As Amazon is HL's exclusive retailer, I expected everything to be identical from the box packaging to promotions at launch.  I get that eventually, HL.com will start sending us exclusive promotional offers (e.g., 5% off or a free LG6 download!  JK), but I didn't expect this discrepancy to occur from the start.  Everyone who pre-ordered these items obviously looked forward to getting them, and what they've done is rob those who ordered via Amazon from the unboxing experience.  This might sound silly but I was really looking forward to unboxing my order after watching all those unboxing videos and thought it would be like unwrapping a Sephora gift order, but nope.  Oh and I feel gypped that I didn't get the promo code for a free lip liner too.

 IMO they really overhyped the Amazon partnership and I'm just going to start ordering directly from HL.com going forward.

It’s not silly. This is a legit gripe.  I’m wonder if Amazon f*cked up? 

They don’t do this with their own products. My Echo didn’t come thrown in a blank mailer pack sans box. 

Maybe send Hauslabs an email about it? 

I’m so grateful now that I ordered on the website - I only did so due to Amazon.com not having it loaded at exactly midnight and I was worried it would all sell out.

Then again, Hauslabs is never sending my stuff so - 😒

Exactly. Like, why go to the trouble of putting together a video for Amazon Prime Day to advertise HL and make such a big deal about *Amazon*, only to give the short end of the stick to people who actually ordered through Amazon? In the end, I don't need another box to recycle, but more than anything, it's the principle. If nothing else, they could've made it clear that "Order from HL to get special exclusives." I'm not trying to drag on Haus Labs, as ultimately this is a tiny thing, but it's disappointing. I really thought that things would be identical regardless of which site we ordered from, and I honestly went with Amazon instead because I'm lazy AF and didn't want to have to go to the trouble to create a new account with HL.

Boo about stupid Amazon not having the exclusives. But YAY about how amazing the products are!! I can't wait to receive mine. I suck at applying makeup, so this gives me hope (though I didn't order the eyeliner, but I may in the future). My Face Lace is supposed to come tomorrow too, so I can't wait to sit in front of the mirror and play. 

And now that you have lips as luscious as Gaga's, I think she better get ready to pucker up and give you a big fat smooch.

So I'm in Canada and ordered on Prime Day because I figured prime shipping would be more reliable for me (sometimes things coming from the states can be slow). And then they delayed shipping orders until September 30th  And I ordered some duos that were limited to the pre-order so I couldn't just cancel Amazon and order from the HL website. It's really messy and I'm actually annoyed a lot. I don't even care at all about the packaging, I just feel screwed over by having ordered on Amazon at all. Like, what was this partnership even for then

(And I wouldn't have gone for the M&G except it's a special birthday trip for my sister who has a milestone birthday coming up, and I'm not about to let that bitch have a M&G without me.)

If anything, I would expect the Amazon order to be the more special one to celebrate the partnership, and not the other way around.  I definitely agree with your point that they should be transparent about this upfront (if that's the case, I think most pre-orders would've gone to HL.com - even non-fans would want freebies).  Now that they've established that there's a difference depending on where you order your products from, I would expect a lot of people to start ordering from HL directly unless you're just getting one product through Amazon Prime and don't want to pay for shipping.  Having a bunch of disgruntled people from day 1 = not a good start for this partnership.
