StrawberryBlond 14,881 Posted September 16, 2019 Share Posted September 16, 2019 We've known about this for well over a year but its been so long now that I'm convinced she's maybe scrapped one, if she was indeed ever working on two. Its clear that she doesn't care about music anywhere near as much anymore, she's been focused completely on her make up and lingerie line. Fenty Beauty was released 2 years ago. What ventures is she working on that are so important that she's held off on music for this long? It's like she knows she's had her peak and won't be able to compete after all this time and just wants to release music very occasionally now. The last we heard of when her new album was due was in December 2018 and it was that "the album will be released next year." Extremely vague. It's now mid-September 2019 and there's not even a lead single title announcement. I think its safe to say that things have been re-arranged and plans have been backed out of. The last time she took a break this long was when there were problems with the vision of the album and now she's taking her longest ever break, we're approaching 4 years now since Anti's release. I can't believe it's going on four years since she released ANTI. I think, at this point, she should just wait for the top of next year to release.
