the easy way out would have been for Gaga to partner with an existing brand. Instead she decided to work as a startup and build her own business selling products that solve problems she actually has in makeup.

This should be applauded, but too many LM's are more concerned with appearances and how she positions against the top beauty brands.   Gaga never set out to beat Fenty beauty  and I doubt she'll ever try to compete with  that number of products, but fans have to make a stan competition out of everything.  She's positioning her products for people that play with makeup differently than the usual crowd.

And from a photo too. What? You wanted it covered with diamante and feathers? Like wtf? It's all bells and whistles that pad the cost. It's superficial waste. It's not the most important thing. At the end of the day, if the best makeup  in the world, came in white cardboard tubes and costs $10, then hey....what does it ****ing matter?????

Yeah, anyone could dump money into future trash, but that's not "doing better"  it's just stupid.

And again, all I hear is ... it looks, it looks, it looks...when yall actually have it in your hands and in front if you, than I might listen.

I can’t at people here saying monsters are bad because of their opinions. Sorry but we should be able to voice our thoughts.

If I don’t like it or see problems at design etc. I will say it. And it’s not that I don’t know how design works. 

As an example. Check simplynailogicals nail polish. She started that company on her own as a YouTuber. Her package. Her design. That website. It just has been done properly. You don’t need huge budget for good packaging.

Also people saying it’s less wasteful. You do realize that the products are also in package and than put in the non recyclable bags?

are we not allowed to have an opinion? i've been a gaga fan for as long as i can remember but that doesn't mean i'm gonna stop seeing this as tacky and cheap. specially compared with her previous projects. if this was an ariana grande make up line, it'd have a pass

this is coming from the same woman who debuted a perfume commercial directed by a top fashion photographer in a museum.

I dunno man. Maybe there's a language barrier. Cuz I'm officially lost on what exactly you're critique even is anymore. And it doesn't even seem like you've bought any of this stuff, so it's like cart before the horse complaining

EVERYONE is free to express their opinion but you put it out on a forum: It will be debated and there will be back and forth. Especially with very strong and very superficial statements like: it doesn't look expensive so "issa no"  That's why  LMs are angry and saying this fan base sucks.  What kind of attitude is that to have? About Gaga? Gaga who without pause wears our crude homemade shirts and jackets over her designer sh*t like a proud mother with a pasta necklace?

 The design, of all the elements, is far from trash.  It's chic, minimal and no more than it has to be. And that's a good thing. Consumer money should go toward the quality of the product, not for a more gaudy container. Otherwise, you're just getting scammed
