There was LGBTQ rep in the film, with both the opening scene and Richie. Perhaps the bullies didnt get "what they deserved," but that is the point of Derry. Pennywise also feads off fear, so it doesnt make sense for the bullies to be attacked. It doesn't have to be a happy ending for it to be representative. The supposed to be jump scares were weak compared to the first one, since they didn't even make me jump. Great film, overall, I just was expecting more of a horror factor. I knew they wouldn't want to change the material around too much, but I wish they would have taken some... liberties with the overall story and mood of the film.
