I guess it depends on how it is done. I'm not necessarily a fan of the diet/nu-r&b that has been kind of popular with some of the girls (and boys) right now. All the power to them, it's not bad music, but personally some of it can be soĀ boring- in that, there's not even a lot of melodic or lyrical height to keep it afloat. I know the big thing right now is "chill" and "vibes" but that's not enough for me, in my opinion.

That said, I'm not opposed to it overall. Some of the best kinds of songs to showcase an artist's vocals are in the R&B realm.

I agree with this. I think Gaga’s inner rhythm shines with rnb which is why I think it could be great. Posh Life? If there were some TLC-style bops I would be DOWN.

She clearly can make good R&B tracks. Imagine an album with:Ā Second time around;Ā Do what you want;Ā Starstruck;Ā The cure;Ā Heal mel! :)Ā

Her stevie wonder tribute perf' also showed she could nail the genre vocally! ;)Ā

Her vocal style is entirely suited to R&B and I’ve been wishing for years she’d make a full R&B album. The Cure, Heal MeĀ and Do What U Want were good tasters and even her vocals on I Want Your Love serve R&B stylistically.

Like I need a disco/funk record and a chill R&B recordĀ

ugh you always serve TASTE this is exactly what i want gaga to do also!Ā
