So distressing to hear that a place generally for families to shop at can have bullets for your handgun that's running low...

I still don't get the obsession in America with guns and the need to walk around with them in the open. Are they paranoid there will be an outbreak of war as they walk to the grocery? Like isn't middle America also supposed to be very religious, and aren't you supposed to trust and love thy neighbour?

this whole episode is great but I like this clip in particular. It's really distressing as guns are becoming more of a symbol in America. There are so many car decals in my blood red state that depict guns.

America is full of self-righteous religious hypocrites. This coming from someone who doesn’t even necessarily view religion as “evil” or “bad” as others make it out to be. That said, there’s a obvious distinction between what people preach and what people practice.

It’s all about “loving thy neighbor” and “practicing peace” until it comes to political issues like immigration or gun control. I’ve never understood how a supposedly peaceful and inviting religious system could condone violence and apathy. Again, this coming from a person who doesn’t necessarily view religion as a bad thing.

Reminds me of this guy on Fox News calling out a church here in California for wanting to take in undocumented immigrants. He said the church should not be involved in politics. Interesting because when it comes to LGBT issues and abortion, we must allow religion organizations influence our politics

Republican Jesus is different from actual Jesus. 

Guns have been romanticized in America for centuries. There is the continuing idea that you're not safe in the world without a gun. Guns are toted a a necessity, especially in the South.

Sorry to all the American GGD users on but I just don't understand America. The UK is so different, you can just buy ammunition or a gun in a shop here. Although, our knife crime has randomly risen this past year or two - we gotta work on that
