It does sound like it could’ve fit in with the other songs from Nevermind. Sounds so good:tony:

I updated my post with another outtake too! Check it out it’s pretty good, and actually has a studio recording

Thanks. I’ll check it out. I know this might sound crazy because I’m a 90’s kid but I only started getting into their music months ago:huntyga:

I have seen the light now:pray:

Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album is full of hit potential. I could see every song being a hit minus dressing up

Out of the songs that haven't already been said...

This was some of Lana's biggest hip hop influence and it would have had serious potential in the current climate:

Ok, this track is so dated now, but in late 2012, this could've slayed the charts but just remained a bonus song:

In the 80's, this could've been a big classic. That chorus will never leave your head when it enters:

I'm surprised this album was called off so fast. I thought this was a definite single, cringey as it is. I can imagine the video and I can imagine the parodies that would be made out of it. It's made to be a YouTube hit:

Between creating a very of-its-time 2012 sound and collabing with a very popular name, Nicki sure short changed herself at times:

I will never let these 2 songs go. They're 2 of my best ever faves from Britney and they had "hit" written all over them:

Maybe Beyonce thought she'd already done enough Jay Z collabs by this point (she'd already done 2 and they'd been singles) that she felt this was too much. But, c'mon, this is 2003 hit fodder:

This was designed to be a Christmas #1 or was just ideal in that colder month time and a great way to round off an album, plus it's tear-jerking and has all the things that make an Ed ballad hit. Lord knows its so much better and more credible than Shape Of You:

It's beyond me why Ariana cut this era short when this album was so commercial and she was onto a good thing with her first few singles. She could easily have got another top 10 if she'd merely released this:

And, for a totally random suggestion for the rockers here, just imagine it's the 80's and all the rock bands that were big back then and tell me that this wasn't a sure fire hit that could have been a classic for Alice Cooper. I'm actually enraged that this was never made a single:

Not sure if it was said already but I Did Something Bad by Taylor Swift would have been a massive hit and one of her most signature songs if it were made into a single. imo it’s top 5 in her discography and the best song on reputation

It wasn’t a single? It does sound really good.

Britney Spears - Breathe On Me, Get Naked (I Got A Plan), Trouble For Me, Do You Wanna Come Over (In The Zone, Blackout, Femme Fatale & Glory are full of hits that got away)
Mariah Carey - Stay The Night, Mine Again, O.O.C., Migrate (this could have been her 19th #1 + E=MC2 is full of BOBS :bradley:), It's A Wrap, Meteorite, Caution
Madonna - (I could say half of her discography lol) Gang Bang, Nobody Knows Me, Beat Goes On, Unapologetic Bitch....

When we're not together tell me everything's gonna be alright

Prismatic Light

If you can afford me, I'm still breathing, almost the whole Teenage Dream album, Legendary Lovers, Walking On Air, By The Grace of God, Witness, Roulette (:messga:) Pendulum and Save As Draft are all Katys hits that got away, im still so pressed on more than half of these not being singles :smh:

Talking about Gaga: Starstruck, Dance in the dark, Scheisse, Gipsy, Dancing in circles and ARUTW at least...

And for Madonna, I think Confessions could have way more hits such as Get Together, I Love New York and Let it will be, maybe even Forbidden Love. That album is gold. :spin:

Be kind 🧡
