That's a myth. Recent studies show that being a victim of childhood sexual abuse is not causation. Anyone who claims that they're a pedophile because they were abused as a child are only making an excuse for themselves. The fact is that regardless if he was abused or not, he's attracted to children because he's hardwired that way. 

As long as he's never acted on it, its not an issue, but I'm not exactly giving him the benefit of the doubt.

He is not attracted to children though! he said its not a big deal that his priest sexually molested him as a child and that his relationship with the priest was healthy and helped him. Normalizing your rape specially as a child does not make you a pedophile. Although, if you do make excuses for pedophilia, it makes me question what kind of sexual relationships you are willing to have.

I don't really get your response... but alas allow me to explain my reaction if you thought I said something offensive: 

It's kind of weird to host a "straight" pride mocking gay prides if you are gay yourself, isn't it?  just pointing out the fact that Milo is a white supremacist  and gay (and possibly a pedo..however this subject around him is a bit fuzzy to me)... and then him being part of a  straight parade..... it doesn't really make sense .

Apologies, the sentence should have been "The fact...If he's attracted to children, it's because he's hardwired that way."

As I said, I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt, but neither am I attesting that he is absolutely a pedophile. Only that idea that sexually abused children becoming sexual abusers of children is inaccurate. There is something to be said that the abused children will likely being psychologically scarred, but depression and anxiety are far more likely outcomes.

Ive heard from alot of professionals that it is the case that alot of victims end up doing the same thing the victim does. But I did not look much into it and weather its true or not or if there are new studies.

It's not a joke.

He said 13 year olds should be allowed to be in relationships with adults if they want to. He also said 13 year olds are "boys in their prime." And also that we shouldn't be "hung up on child abuse." And that old men help "young boys" discover who they are.
