I accidentally listened to Drama Club a lot when I didn't know it was from K-12 and also all the snippets, and Piggyback sounds similar sonically. It's definitely gonna be much slower and more vibey, with less hard beats and pop hooks. But it sounds really good so far. I'm gonna listen to the album for the first time in the theatre next Friday and I'm so excited for my first listen to be through a cinema sound system just heard the album and it's exactly the opposite you described, it's cry baby 2.0 but it's okay though i mean it's good but nothing imppresive ... and now i just sit in silence. It's exactly what you'd expect from a more grown Melanie.
