It's definitely gonna be way different to Crybaby. She's become a really hippy, spiritual gal in recent years where she used to be more of a living doll/cartoon, and her work totally reflects that. I accidentally listened to Drama Club a lot when I didn't know it was from K-12 and also all the snippets, and Piggyback sounds similar sonically. It's definitely gonna be much slower and more vibey, with less hard beats and pop hooks. But it sounds really good so far. I'm gonna listen to the album for the first time in the theatre next Friday and I'm so excited for my first listen to be through a cinema sound system I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
