As a fan, this was truly one of my favourite moments to witness; the birth of the Gaga we know as an official movie star. So I thought we should throw it back to that moment in time that we'll be looking back on for the future years to come! One year later and now our queen is an ACADEMY AWARD WINNER!!!! THE ICON JUMPED TF OUT. When I was in Venice earlier this summer, I kept on thinking about the premiere and how good LG looked on those boats. I did not look as glamorous riding the water taxis (with all of the other peasants), red-faced and drenched in sweat as we endured the brutal heat wave that blazed through Europe. Also, she and Bradley look so perfect together, and that dress is out of this world. Love love love! When these first photos came out (before critics came out of the screening / wrote reviews), I kept thinking "please let ASIB be good, or else this grand debut would be for naught" (I was being a LITTLE overdramatic I guess). Tbh I wasn't so sure about ASIB throughout the filming process because I don't know if she'd be able to act natural, since she always seemed to over-act her past characters IMO, but her performance in ASIB really blew me away. I went on to see this at the cinema 30 times in total and it became therapy for me as I went through one of the worst periods of my life... so yeah, hard to believe it's been one year since ASIB became reality / changed my life!
