If anything, she would've been perfect given the context of the song and the media storm which has surrounded her career and became infamous alongside the music. Nothing better than the queen and princess of pop together! I think this would have been perfect and a remainder for Gaga fans that careers face ups and downs and it isn't always an upwards trajectory. Other versions I think would've worked include Frank Ocean (I would die for his vocals on DWUW), Beyonce (however I always imagined her on Aura, if it were given a feature) and Justin Timberlake. She's another highly intelligent, conceptual musician with great songs who can sing and spit lines and whose sexual preference has been the subject of tabloids for a looong time.
