Borislshere 53,080
As long as their not in gay clubs or surrounded by nearly naked men, I have no issue.
Jed 7,716
If you’re in your bedroom or at a cute park gig then go girl but children shouldn’t be in clubs for grown adults with an adult or otherwise
FadMadonsterStan 578
They could play dress up but they shouldn’t bee going to adult venues with adult content Don't go for second best, baby Put your love to the test
latikofficial 829
i help out at a local 'school of drag' run out of the andy warhol museum that hosts youth geared drag shows and helps them learn makeup, hair styling, dancing, etc and i love that, but the idea of children in night clubs & in pageants is a terrible concept to me. letting them have a community of their own is much better than throwing them around adult entertainers and forcing them to grow up too fast. ESPECIALLY with how much drug abuse is in the 18+ drag community. uwu
Stephen 30,423
For BUT only in an environment with other children (i.e. a classroom or a kids birthday party) NOT in any adult setting.
geopang 4,831
Absolutely not. It’s quite disturbing in fact. Drag is not for kids.
Bio 23,538
Is the question about kids who do drag for fun or kids who work in nightclubs? lol. Those are two different things.
Tycho 3,694
I'm of the stance that I think kids should be without any restrictions of pursuing drag privately. Let them dress up, wear wigs and makeup, perform, etc. I don't think nightclubs are the correct environment for any child however, so I don't think kids should perform in clubs. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of outlets for drag, in a performative sense, not in clubs so; it's unfortunate. There should be something accessible for them that they can perform away from peers and comfortably.
AmericanxDream 2,049
It's disgusting when it's done at drag shows. It's things like this that got Trump elected.
Lion Heart 15,041
I'm against the idea of drag KIDS performing at ADULT shows- it's wrong and it paints all of us in a bad light. There's already people associating paedophilia with homosexuality, and drag kids in adult shows reinforces that. Sorry, but no. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
KingRedd 3,139
No, drag shows are more adult. Some things kids don’t need to do until they are an adult. May I Read You? 😎
Nightwing 518
Against. And I feel the same way about beauty pageants for children. You have to draw the line somewhere, and that's where I draw it. It's, virtually, parents pimping their kids out.

LateToCult 40,902
It’s one thing to let your kid explore their creative talents with makeup and fashion but to allow them to be a part of a drag scene is irresponsible and bad parenting. It’s no better than those ridiculous child pageants. It may even be worse.
upsetterfc 0
Your whole premise is wrong. No one performed at a bar. Desmond is a professional drag performer, who is paid to appear at venues where other drag performers have appeared. And if you are stupid enough to believe right-wing propaganda as the topic starter is, you are as big a fool as the knuckle-dragging trolls who constantly repeat the same lies.
