I actually think Ryan Murphy uses the same cinematographer across all his shows, including Pose, Feud and American Crime Story.

Not sure if you guys noticed but the way they were shot is really similar to each other.

Ah, I haven't seen much of else, so I'll take a look.

Although, Pose looks much more vibrant and colorful. Maybe it's intentional, but the last few seasons of AHS have been very sepia-overtoned? And the shot styles have changed.

feels.. a bit like season 3 of Scream Queens :awkney:

Looks a bit like a parody idk.. the wigs are cheap lol

That's the point though. He's bringing the 80's B-movie style slasher to AHS and I'm so here for it.

I think the last season his cinematographer (Michael Goi) did was Roanoke. It says on IMDB that Pose and AHS have different cinematographers now too.

holy god, this looks like a trailer for an actual horror movie!

I'm getting these vibes

I know what you did last summer - hitting a guy on the side of the road and the killer stalking the people who hit him

Halloween - escapes from a hospital to go on killing spree

Friday the 13th - camp crystal lake

btw love seeing Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd working close together (Scream queens was my sh!t)

I'm ready :shocked::excited2:

Gavin Kelly was the cinematographer for Apocalypse.

Michael Goi did the cinematography from Murder House to Roanoke. Then Gavin Kelly took over ever since Cult.

Levine

It looks interesting but it doesn't "feel like ahs"? I don't know how to explain it.

I'll be watching tho.

They changed the font and they used 80s music.

I'm really looking forward to them using the classic AHS music for the opening credits.

Also a lot of the old AHS cast are not here.

Episodes 8 and 9 were questionable but the rest were really good imo.

Like they had some of the highest highs AHS had ever created.

It's especially the ending that I hated (Jessica Lange's first episode was really good). The overacting from some actors  :toofunny:   for example Kathy Bates last scene was HILARIOUS!

PSYCHOSHTICK

This was the messiest trailer I've ever seen. What the hell was that bad techno-house at the end? Is LMFAO back from the dead?

but maybe it's beneficial for the show to do a simpler, more linear plotline

I doubt it'll be like that. I'm so sure it's gonna be a mess by the 3rd episode, it always is well in a couple of seasons., idk how they tie everything up by the end of the season but they manage to do it, the problem is the journey to get there is just not enjoyable for me
