They fund about 47% Dem and 53% Repub but they actually put some money into Hillary Clinton's campaign and none in Trump's. There's this app called Goods or Goods Unite Us. Download it. It has very accurate breakdowns and will help you make informed decisions about what's worth boycotting and what's not. Companies can fund campaigns directly and indirectly by making donations to campaigns, PACs, or even buying their merchandise in bulk. Sometimes it's actually simple products like notebooks. 76% of contributions by Olive Garden were directly on the company account. 24% by senior execs. They do have a lot of money in politics though, so they are one of the reasons big Corp money is in politics.
