OK, the title is a bait and a joke, but also speculations of many Android fans. :fan:

This is the real reason, according to them:

:ohwell:

It is still Android Quindim for me. And Reese's after that. :madge:

This is about identity :gayhat:

I always wondered about when they'd stop finding names :omg: I thought they already had al the names figured out tbh

I love this tbh. The last 2 logos/brands they had weren't good. This one looks professional and has great colors while still incorporating a cute lil robot head.

I also thought it was confusing how they branded each version. It would be Android P (betas) -> Android 9 / Android 9 Pie. Just choose one and announce it as such. Smart move.

Can't be Andriod Queen?

Queen is not a dessert :poot:

The pattern were:

Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream, Jellybean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo and Pie

The new logo is not that bad but it could be better imo :huntyga:

Also, announcing this with the 10th version is a pretty smart move.

Missed opportunity tbh. But then again Android only get really popular around Gingerbread. Maybe harder for them to collab with other brands until then

That and the fact that the majority of the names so far were never "clear and relatable" to countries where English is not the native language.

I argue most countries around the world know what those sweets were or have similiar kind of desserts  :poot:

Isn't that the point she's making?:poot: They're changing it from the English dessert names to just "10" so that everyone can understand.
