I mean I get that maybe it sounds better musically, but really? That lyric was just her showing off her fun side. Do you expect her to do something 100% made for adults or something? Cause if you want that, reputation is just around the corner! Me! Is just one of those songs for people to get a happy feeling from when you're bored or sad, it was one of those songs that you played just to make people go "Ugh, not Taylor again?" It was one of those songs that made you and your girlfriend happy cause it was one of the first songs that made you look into their eyes and really realize you had feelings for eachother... Er, ahem, something like that. Anyway, Me! Is a great song all around and I feel like it needed more respect even if you called the lyrics cringy. I really didn't mind the lyrics cause it was her in the studio, having fun with her music, what's so wrong about that? Nothing. Well you got what you wanted, enjoy Discuss without getting heated. She just thinks everybody i so concerned with her that is tiring how she takes herself so seriously. And she didn't even got through this concept the whole album since songs like Gorgeous got in. About Me!... I dont hate it but the song is already tired in the second chorus. Too much happening. And the infamous line doesnt help, and she knows it. " when I heard that part but now I love that part, it's just fun and goofy and that's what that song totally is to me, just being fun and silly and so on I'm sad that I'm hearing that it's been cut because it's a part of the song and I don't really see the reason why, the song's already happened so why make changes now?
