TheAlienatedNYC 619 Posted August 21, 2019 Share Posted August 21, 2019 i'll never forgive interscope for pushing him to this song in order to make it controversial and more 'interesting' once they thought people were losing interest in gaga. it was always clear that she didn't want him on the track, there is absolutely no sense in putting someone who's accused of rape for the past 10 years in a song called "do what you want (with my body)". i doubt it was her idea, even for the video. when performing/promoting it she always seemed more like 'playing the game' than actually enjoying it. she always knew what she was in, and saying once again, i doubt putting him on the track was her idea and i can see her clearly trying to avoid that from happening - and losing it since Applause wasn't good enough on the charts. When did it come out that interscope forced him on the song? Wasn't she the one saying she wanted him on it cause he was the king of R&B and some **** about the media's perception of both of them? Gaga 100% wanted to record the song with R. Kelly, and she 100% knew what she was doing: Controversy to be commercial, an opportunity to fight harder with Troy, and a collaboration which would be an incredible artistic statement considering the hidden meanings of the song.
