As a queer person or ally, it is not "compatible" to vote for a president that seeks to roll back LGBTQ rights and protections. Conservatives in America are by-in-large Republicans, so their social stances are anti-LGBT by default. This is not necessarily the case abroad. So when people in America see LGBT conservatives, they rightly see people that are against themselves & their communities. I understand that (sadly) not all queers are radical leftists like I am but you cannot be LGBT and support the political parties & ideologies that have historically suppressed you. Everything is political, from sex to economics and it is our duty to continue to fight for equality not just for ourselves but anyone else who's been oppressed like we are.
