floraux 27 Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 For those wondering - and this is just my two cents, her "heading to the studio" doesn't necessarily mean anything about when the album will come. She could be heading to the studio to start the final tracking process of the album - which means the final takes of some vocals or sounds. And this could be for only one song, or it could be for six - we don't know. Most of the record might already be done, and after they've finalized everything, it would still need to be mastered too. She did do some stuff with Paul but he said on Instagram she changed direction from making ARTPOP 2.0 it seemed like. So my guess is the stuff she’s probably recorded with Bloodpop and Boys Noize is getting edited up, layered etc from these sessions (her post from yesterday “church” had BP behind her in the booth I think) she hasn’t linked back up with SOPHIE yet so we don’t know about that. Also there’s a possibility GRIMES has worked with her too like how Will.i.am and David Guetta worked in secret with her on Fashion! Literally anything’s possible at this point, my guess is some songs have already been finished and mastered since they had a fully mastered instrumental in the Haus Labs ad. I doubt she is going to the studio without any material and just chilling and jamming with her bros and seeing if anything hits. She produces and writes her own stuff, so I'm going to assume that she has roughly all the music planned ready to record. The only thing that's probably going to take time is finding the right beats and finding a cohesive sound, though let's be real, Gaga hasn't really had a cohesive album since BTW lol. I mean why do you think we end up with a million demo leaks cuz gaga kept re recording whether it was a production change or a vocal change... She's been recording with Bloodpop since December 2017, and the songs they did together did not feature on ASIB.
