We know we are destroying the Earth, yet we continue to ignore the signs that the Earth is giving us. Action must be taken now, both on a local, national and international level. How will we look the next generation in the eye and tell them that we knew what was happening, but did not do anything to act on it?

The vegan diet is the most environmentally friendly diet.

Well nobody would accept real solutions, even people who want laws to help the environment. They are for different kind of garbage and will ban straws, but wont accept things that actually effect changing their lifestyle. Is there even a real solution to this problem?

I was just saying that if climate change threatens the food supply, plants would be affected too by the climate change. Of course going vegan is best for the environment.

Lord Temptation

We should all try and grow more of our own food. And plant more trees! We honestly can’t simply wait around for governments to do the right thing, we need to be more self-reliant and expect the worse. Meat will soon be a luxury

I don't think that we have all the solutions, but we can change our lifestyles. I think that we have the choice between changing or risk the extinction of species including ourselves. Once climate change begins to effect people's lives (such as the dam which nearly collapsed in the UK) people will be more likely to change the way they behave.

I apologise for my misunderstanding.

Ah yes, the daily climate change fearmongering report.

This isn't fearmongering. This is the truth that we all need to accept and act upon.

but like actually :poot:

I wish people would realize how much of a negative impact animal agriculture has on the planet. Going vegan or at least lessening your consumption of animal products (specifically meat and dairy) is honestly the relatively most effective and easiest way to have a big impact on climate change. But you can barely bring it up to anyone because they immediately shut down get defensive and label you one of those pushy vegans :spin:

Literally :selena:

Even the new report on climate change keeps saying 'it would help if you cut down your meat and dairy intake' but it's like why don't we just start saying 'we don't actually need to eat meat or dairy, so maybe we should stop' :spin: it would have such a huge difference but people are just scared to say it
