I loved the video from a fashion/art film perspective but was disappointed because she did make it seem like it would be more energetic and include more of the song, so its disappointing from thast view, but its still an amazing video. Im more disappointed that i watched the Live stream waiting for something exciting to happen and she just slept and got a tattoo :confuse: sigh.

Mhkay, But you need to UNDERSTAND that (most) people ACTUALLY get the pop parallel to Warhol, and the pun to "****," and how the entire performance was ironically sh*t --- Scheibe. But you like to call out people on repeat or insult them, when you are the one who was losing his sheisse at a member (the other day) for ALWAYS being NEGATIVE. Its great you love to defend gaga, but its annoying when nobody can ever disagree, without you being negative towards them, while your ironically preaching about wanting to have positivity. Just lay off people dude, the belligerence isnt needed. Some of us FULLY UNDERSTAND what this performance symbolized, and that being said, it was still a steaming pile.

It wasn't like a fan coming here and disliking something, it was someone coming here with the full on intention to talk ****. There's a difference between me coming at people for having a viewpoint that opposes my own.

This instance however. You're correct. I find it annoying that people think this is awful when almost every music video throughout the BTW-era was much worse and didn't get half the **** talk this commercial is getting. It's visually interesting, despite the fact that there was no dialogue. This is literally the first thing shes done in quite awhile that I think has artistic merit. Her sleeping and tattoo set I don't have feelings for one way or the other. But this is certainly not the worst thing shes done. Especially since the BTW-era as a whole was such a major mess in my opinion.

Well unlike the rest of this fanbase, I don't create my own expectations in my head and believe it to be fact and then denounce her when I don't get what I want.

Marry the Night was ****ty. This is visually interesting.

She did say Schiesse would be used for something. She heavily implied over and over that it would BASICALLY be a music video for it. She'd be using it for something special, she'd filmed something for it. She used it in the trailers.

Well, people are allowed to be disappointed. She did hype it up, it wasn't just the fans. I'm sorry, but I think it might be a little bit reasonable to expect a perfume video with Schiesse being used for more than 1/32 of the alotted time. Instead, you got a visually stunning but otherwise boring video. And afterwards waiting for four hours for something to happen while she got a tattoo and people kissed her ass after she pissed in a bucket.

It's more delusional to believe that she WASN'T leading us on for something bigger. "I'll be performing at the FAME launch! Oh wait nevermind watch me sleep and piss in a bucket."

& I totally understand that, because BTW was a HOT mess. I didnt find any video redeeming except Marry the Night, and even THAT one had its major flaws. Of course this one is much more visually "interesting," and provides this entire (subtle) thesis on the nature of fame, etc... the "performance piece," was ironic in a pun kind of way, but it wasnt really brilliant or good in itself, and its sad people are upset with this installation @ Gggnheim, but I myself, just found the entire thing a Big puddle of Sh*t, even though I get what the art is saying, its just kind of a letdown, not only because of Scheibe not being featured, which people can deal, because it wasnt explicitly said that THIS would be a music video, but the work itself is just average. Cinematically, its HER best --- it looks STUNNING, but the end result is very nihilist... imo...but its just important that people dont get grilled and slammed by other people for voicing their opinion; thats the point of a forum!

I thought the BTW-era music videos were excellent for the most part with the major exception being Born This Way. But that's your opinion. This perfume ad had no meaning, nothing to add on the teasers, and doesn't promote the perfume any. If anything the ad promoted KLEIN and the work of many CGI artists.

IMO.

I thought the Marry the Night and You and I videos were steaming piles of **** honestly. This was legit, in my opinion.

I suppose I shouldn't attack people here for saying shes awful. But I mean, in the same vein you can't exactly attack me for having an opinion about their opinion either since this is indeed a forum.
